Selphi was my first work as UX/UI Designer and it was a complete challenge for me. I worked on this project for a year and a half and it represented my first contact with UX and UI Design.
FacePhi is a small but well known Fintech company located in Alicante (Spain). Apart of being my first work place it was where I started to learn about UX and UI.
Back on the days, I remember when the R&D team was on charge for designing the software that they were developing. But, honestly, I don't remember when the situation changed and FacePhi began to gave more importance to UI and UX design.
Here it was when I had the opportunity to get into this amazing project and I discovered my passion for UX Design. I found out what I wanted to be!
As I said, Selphi was my first work as a UX/UI designer and it was a completely challenge for me. This mobile app is a demo that simulates a bank mobile app but with a new alternative access: facial recognition technology.
Our main goal was to provide the best user experience especially during the onboarding process when the users have to register their face.
During the onboarding we had to tell the users how and where they have to put their face and to give real-time feedback in terms of lights conditions, pose, sunglasses, etc. In this way, we ensure that the register process works efficiently but also that the communication and interaction between the technology and the user is really good since the onboarding was extremely important for us.
Once we had a strong prototype and before launching to the market, I did some tests with several users in different scenarios, trying different lights conditions until we have all the customer experience set up.
